Friday was Andrew's birthday. He turned 12. I can't believe how fast the years have gone since he was once my little chubby baby.

Drew started his birthday off with the radio announcing a Happy 12th Birthday to him, which he loved. Also the radio station picks one person out of all the birthday people to win a gift certificate to a local Mexican restaurant for a free lunch or dinner for 2. Guess who won?
You got it, Drew!!! That just really made his day.
After school we went out for dinner but since none of us were too hungry we just went and had some appetizers at a local restaurant called Logan's Steak House. One of Andrew's new favorite foods is buffalo wings, so that is what he ordered.

After dinner we had to go to Hailey's soccer practice but once we got home we had cake and sang Happy Birthday to Drew.
I wasn't sure what type of cake he wanted so I got him a few different kinds. It was actually cool because then we all could have a little of each kind.

Of course we sang and he made a wish and blew out his candles.

We can't forget his present also. This year Drew wanted an Ipod Touch, since that is a pretty big gift we decided to give him money towards him saving for one.

We can't be more proud of the young man Drew is turning into. He is a straight A student in school. In fact, he just was invited to join the Junior Beta Club. A exclusive club in school for students who hold an average of 95 or higher in all studies.
He is also funny as can be and can make anyone laugh with his silly jokes. He loves to play football and of course like anyone else his age Xbox. One things he hates, is firewood. Does not like having anything to do with it but of course he helps when its time.
I just couldn't resist, here is one more picture of Drew when he was little.
