Easter

Easter was very relaxing for us this year.

The kids woke up early for a weekend morning, 7AM.  Of course they wanted to dig right into their Easter baskets.

Kids not quite awake yet with their Easter baskets.

After they opened their baskets they decided to go out and hunt for Easter Eggs that the Easter bunny hid for them.

The kids ended up getting lots of candy and money from the Easter Bunny in their Easter Eggs.

After the egg hunt we watched Happy Feet 2, since the Easter bunny got it for Hailey for her basket.  It was a really cute movie.  Jamie made our homemade bacon, eggs and toast for breakfast.  After the movie we just kinda hung around for the day.  We decided to have a day of rest and relaxation since we all worked really hard on the farm on Saturday getting the grass cut, the hedges cut, cleaning out the front bushes and getting everything weed wacked including the yard, the long driveway and the orchard.

The kids did end up coloring Easter eggs but not until later in the afternoon and then we had dinner.  Not your typical Easter dinner but it was delicious.  We had Ah-So Marinated spareribs with egg noodles and a veggie.

It was a very nice Easter with just our family.  It would have been nice to see some of our extended family for the holiday but we called them and spoke to them instead.
