Honey Marinade

This is a marinade recipe that Jamie & I got over 10 years ago.  The recipe comes from our good friend, Debbie Rogers dad Bob Gosnell.

We use this marinade often and love its sweet taste.

Recipe if for approximately 2 1/2lbs of meat but this recipe doubles and triples very easily.

1/2 Cup Soy Sauce
1 Cup Oil
1/2 Cup Red Wine Vinegar
1 Onion Sliced
2 Tbls Ginger
2 Tbls Garlic Powder
1 Cup Honey

Mix all ingredients well and place meat in and marinade for at least 12-24 hours.  The longer you marinade it the sweeter the meat taste.  We have used this marinade with beef and venison and it works well with both.  I also have an Internet friend who has tried it on goat and was told that it was delicious too.

Sorry for no photo, this was a last minute post.
